Biography

Alex Donnell

Stung by a bumble bee, shoving his hand through a glass door and getting stuck in a tree; all this before the age of 5! It was time for the family to leave Terra Haute, Indiana and move to Independence Missouri. After serving in the Army, he came back home to Independence. Though saved at the age of 8, it was an experience at the age of 24 that changed his life. He met someone that had something real, something he wanted. After meeting with that man Alex knew what was missing, a personal love relationship with Jesus. He was forever changed that night. He began writing numerous songs about the Christian walk. His love of music became a driving passion when his sister married the late Gary Driskell, a Dove award singer/song writer in Nashville. For years Alex would write music and ask for Gary’s feedback. 7 years later and lots of hard work, it happened! Gary told him, “You’re finally ready to go”. Alex’s song writing is introspective and challenges the apathy in our lives today. He has a passion to see those that once walked with God to be restored to the Lover of their souls. Alex is married to his beautiful wife Tandi and they have 5 children in their blended family; Tyler, Rachael, Katelyn, Jacob, and Kaylee.

Desperate to save his marriage he visited the preacher of the new church his wife was going to. On that following Wednesday night he accepted Jesus into his heart. He immediately realized, “Jesus is the best high he ever had”! Bob & Angela have two great kids, Marty and Morgan. They both have a flair for acting and have been in several local plays. Marty is also a Magician with quite a following. Bob’s hobbies include varied sports and music activities and let s not forget his passion for watching the local hockey team play in Kansas City. In 2008, Bob co-founded the band Whosoever Will with Alex Donnell. He feels the band’s sound is like nothing that’s out there today. The harmonies they are able to create are rare in today’s music.
